Heather Grierson - Learning Specialists Association of Canada

Heather has supported post-secondary students for more than 20 years. She is currently a Learning Specialist in Learning & Curriculum Support at the University of Guelph. In addition to her M.A. in Education (Denmark) and Máster Universitario (Spain), she has a Certificate in Learning Disabilities (Learning Strategy Stream, Cambrian College) and is a long-time member of LSAC. As LSAC’s International Relations Director, Heather’s vision is to support the promotion of the professional status of Learning Specialists in Canada and build community with our international ICALLD members and other global learning organizations.

Thank you for taking the time to join our LSAC community today. Before we begin, we would like to pause to intentionally express our gratitude for the land we are on today and to all the Indigenous Peoples past, present and future that have and continue to be stewards of these lands. We recognize that moving forward we are mutually responsible for the caretaking and preservation of this land for future generations.
