Harmony Nadjiwon

Harmony Nadjiwon is the Professor of Indigenous Curriculum Development at Centennial College. A proud member of the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation, Harmony has a rich heritage that blends her Oneida (matrilineal) and Ojibway (patrilineal) roots. Deeply committed to the belief that we are all both teachers and learners, she is guided by the understanding that our interconnectedness with all living things shapes the way we move through the world. Embracing the principle of Two-Eyed Seeing, Harmony approaches every aspect of her life with a balance of Indigenous and Western worldviews. As a mother to 8-year-old twin boy/girl children, she views her work as an act of reverence for the seven generations who came before her and as a gift, she will leave for the seven generations yet to come.
