Symposium theme: Beyond Survival: Agency, Advocacy and Impact in Learning Development

Join us for the ICALLD Symposium Over Time 2026, where we will move beyond survival narratives to explore the agency, advocacy, and impact at the heart of Learning Development. This year’s symposium invites colleagues to reflect on our collective successes, share the diverse journeys of third‑space professionals, and consider how Learning Developers shape, influence, and articulate their value within complex institutional landscapes.

This event creates a space for connection and shared reflection highlighting Learning Development as purposeful, relational, and influential practice. Together, we will explore the ways we exercise agency, foster meaningful change, and create impact, especially in challenging times.

Attendance is free, but registration is required. Links to join the symposium will be sent to registrants ahead of the event.
