Glean
Glean is a note taking app that combines multimedia notes with audio recording. it can be used both online and offline to be able to take notes and annotate lectures, audio recordings, and meetings. Quick labels and speech bubbles make it easy for students to navigate the audio recording.
Evernote
This app allows students to consolidate all of their notes and create flashcards. I saw this as a top recommended resource on social media (TikTok) for studying.
English verb tense chart
This is the best infographic for verb tenses I’ve ever come across and a go-to resource that’s used by students and writing consultants alike. What I like about it is that it explain the conventional usage of each tense (i.e., when / why to choose one tense over another).
Descriptions of Speech Acts at CARLA (Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition)
This provides examples of different approaches to speech acts such as apologies, complaints, invitations, requests, etc. across cultures. Remember these are GENERALIZATIONS. Just because a student speaks the language that is referenced does not mean they will necessarily behave that way – however, it probably does mean that they are at least aware of these norms.

This website helps you make references and citations for different styles like APA format. Myself and a lot of students use this resource when citing.
